Job Description
Summer Intern
As a Quality Engineer Intern, you'll collaborate with Technology Functions and Business teams to ensure the quality delivery of our products. Operating in an Agile environment globally, our team takes charge of all decisions, aiming to enhance user experience and operations through rapid development with uncompromising quality.
Your role involves crafting automation/performance solutions, testing applications across Web/Windows/API/Services platforms, and developing efficient data comparison methods. Challenge yourself to minimize "time to market" without compromising quality by leveraging automation and innovation. Engage with various internal teams, utilizing a range of technologies to achieve your objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop automation/performance scripts adhering to organization standards
- Design and execute test plans and cases based on functional and design specifications
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of business functionality with required quality
- Build efficient testing solutions for Web, Services/APIs, Database, and mobile requirements
- Actively participate in internal/cross-team meetings, project scoping, and test-related activities
- Capture quality assurance data and metrics for insights and conclusions
- Estimate and perform risk analysis for quality delivery

Desired Skill Sets and Experience
- Third-year students pursuing a B.Tech (CS/IT) degree in Computer Science and Information Technology
- Proficiency in programming using Python/C#/Java or other languages, along with a strong grasp of OOP concepts
- Knowledge of databases, SQL/PL-SQL, query writing, and RDBMS
- Ability to develop test plans, engage in exploratory testing, and maintain defect reports
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to produce clear, concise documentation
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to work in a 24*5 environment on rotational shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with testing in CI, DevOps, and a rolling deployment/upgrade model
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows OS, Networking, and 3-tier applications
- Basic understanding of Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google) is an added advantage
